The uAttend mobile app is a valuable addition to the uAttend’s Cloud-Connected Time and Attendance System. It offers employees the convenience of easily punching in and out using their smartphones, while administrators and supervisors can efficiently manage timecards.

The app allows hourly employees to clock in and out for work, lunches, and breaks, making the entire process streamlined. It intelligently suggests the next most likely punch option available to each employee. For example, if someone is on their lunch break, they will be prompted to punch in again once they return. Employees can view their punch status, along with the time, date, and department they are punched into. Additionally, it's possible to transfer departments with just a touch of a button.

Transferring departments is a straightforward process with the app. Employees are prompted to enter the new department or search by name. Once the transfer is initiated, it automatically punches them out of their existing department and punches them into the new one.

Employees with permission can easily access their time cards, both current and past. They can quickly approve or email their time cards to supervisors or themselves for record-keeping purposes.

Adding tips and expenses is also made easy with the app. Employees can input tips and expenses directly from their smartphones. This feature is especially useful for reporting purposes and for payroll management. Expenses can be tracked based on the expense codes set up in their uAttend account. Whether it's tracking gas expenses or team lunches, employees can select the appropriate category and add the amount. Filtering options allow for easy sorting of time cards by gross pay, notes, tips, and expenses.

The app also allows employees to leave short notes for each punch, providing an open line of communication with their supervisors.

For administrators and supervisors, the app provides real-time oversight on employee time and attendance, regardless of their location. It offers a comprehensive list of all employees and their punch status, making it easy to see who is in, who is out, and who is missing. Different filters allow for identifying employees on lunch breaks or any other status. Administrators have access to view and edit all departments, while supervisors can view and edit departments or employees they are responsible for. Timecards can be emailed to individuals or multiple recipients for review.

Editing time cards is a seamless process within the app. Users can filter results by employee or department to quickly find the information they need. They can search for specific employees to view details such as gross pay, overtime, and benefit hours. The timecard summary for all employees can be emailed, with the option to add notes before sending. Administrators also have the ability to edit punches, facilitate group punches, approve timecards, and contact customer support directly from within the app. In case of a pay period change after the fact, there is a feature to recalculate timecards.
